Somerset Treatment Services Frequently Asked Questions What kind of services do you have? Somerset Treatment Services provides a variety of outpatient substance abuse-related services, including assessments, individual counseling, and family counseling. We also offer various groups as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program. For individuals addicted to heroin, we have outpatient detoxification and methadone maintenance. Additionally, Somerset Treatment Services offers prevention programs. Somerset Treatment provides several HIV-related services, including case management and substance abuse treatment. Are your services confidential? Yes, we abide by the federal confidentiality guidelines governing all addictions treatment services. We cannot release any information about an individual without his/her signed consent (except in medical emergencies). What are you hours of operation? Do you have evening hours? We are open on Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 4:30pm Tuesdays to Thursdays from 9am to 8pm The methadone clinic has medication hours from 6:30am to 9am We do have evening counseling hours. How do you apply for services? You can call us at any time during our hours of operation and speak with a counselor. The counselor will take some very brief information and schedule an appointment with you or arrange for someone to call you back to schedule an appointment with you. To apply for the methadone program, the process is similar, but you must also schedule an appointment with the doctor after you have completed the intake with the counselor. How long do you have to wait for services? We make every effort to meet with new clients within 1-2 days. How long do you come for treatment? Length of treatment varies according to your needs and will be discussed with your counselor during the assessment process. What are the fees for these services? Most of our services are offered on a sliding fee scale basis. We accept Medicaid and some forms of insurance. All of our HIV-related services are offered at no cost to eligible clients.
