All services are provided by a qualified, caring clinical staff. The agency's 20-member staff includes physicians, nurses, and a clinical psychiatrist, in addition to social workers, drug and alcoholism counselors, prevention specialists, and HIV case managers. Somerset Treatment Services is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The agency is certified by the United Way of Somerset County. Clients are charged nominal sliding scale fees based on their ability to pay. Funding sources include county, local, state, and federal grants and service agreements as well as the Somerset County United Way. Corporate contributions and private donations also support the work of Somerset Treatment Service.
