Somerset Treatment Services: History of Caring
For more than three decades, Somerset Treatment Services has been attending to the needs of individuals and families who are victims of substance abuse and related concerns. Originally conceived in 1970 as The Somerset Drug Clinic by Somerset County Freeholders and the Medical Society of Somerset Medical Center, the clinic has since evolved into a multi-service, non-profit treatment center committed to providing programs that are both affordable and responsive to the needs of all residents of Somerset County and surrounding communities. Our affiliation with numerous professional organizations and medical facilities throughout the region enables us to deliver comprehensive substance abuse and treatment/testing programs, community education, appropriate referrals, and a prepared response to the AIDS crisis. Cooperative arrangements are currently in place with the Somerset Medical Center, and Robert Wood Johnson Memorial Hospital.
